Hand Of Doom

What I like most in this shot is the composition: the diagonal formed by the twisted branches is striking and adds a lot to the blue-ish, cold atmosphere. Somehow it reminds me of that infamous <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/> scene of "SnowWhite", when she flies through the forest and is being grasped by the ghoulish branches. Brrr...

But, at the same time, it's also peaceful, even if in a slightly "cemeterial" way. It's the presence of the statue, in my opinion, that contributes to the overall gloom.

I like it very, very much, specially the cold tone you used to create the chilly atmosphere.
